Smaltovňa Fiľakovo is a part of the Building Slovakia season 3. It was directed by Lea Podhradská. For this short film I did the research and I was the assistant production manager and assistant director.
This small factory, on the doorstep of two states, almost always on the periphery, has been exporting its products all over the world since the days of Czechoslovakia. The logo of the fiery rooster was a guarantee of quality. The rooster was also requested by the Muslim countries of the Orient, and later, under socialism, by 'friendly' countries in Africa.
